IBPSA is pleased to announce the following have been selected as finalists for the IBPSA Pet Care Business Excellence Awards. Nicknamed the “Ibbys,” these awards established by the International Boarding & Pet Services Association (IBPSA), honor those businesses raising the bar for professionalism and success in the pet care services industry. The 2019 Ibbys will be presented to the winners and “runner-pups” in multiple categories during a special evening presentation at the Seventh Annual IBPSA Pet Care Services Educational Conference & Trade Show on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa (Palm Springs, California).

Ibby finalists and winners were decided by the Ibbys Selection Committee based on nominations received earlier this year. To meet the initial threshold for a nomination, pet care providers must have been in business for at least three years and a current member of IBPSA for at least six months. Next, nominees were required to submit information reflecting:

• Financial growth in the past year.
• Company description and the vision.
• Company culture.
• How the business excels in animal welfare.
• Education and certifications completed by pet care services business owners and employees.

Based on the categories, smaller pet care business finalists have just as much of an opportunity to take home an award as larger companies. Pet care providers could also nominate up to three industry vendors who they believe are among the best allies for the pet care industry. Ibbys for these premier vendors will also be presented at the event on October 1st.

The Seventh Annual IBPSA Pet Care Services Conference & Trade Show happens October 1-3, 2019, at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa (Palm Springs, California). Pre-conference events kick-off September 29 – September 30th.
